Today was our first trip of the season to Kefalonia, we wanted to share our photos and a little bit about Kefalonia with you!

A bit about Kefalonia… Kefalonia is the biggest of the Ionian Islands and is famous for its scenic beaches. The town of Kefalonia is called Agostoli, you will find a small shopping areas and plenmty of tavernas. In the harbour at Agostoli it is also common to see turtles swimming as you walk along the harbour. The other main port in Kefalonia is Sami Port, this is where you can find ferrys to Patra, Ithaca and Italy! One of Kefalonia’s most famous locations is Melissani Cave, this is an incredible lake cave where you can take a trip on the water and see the sun shining down through the open cave above.
