Please note the Turtle Spotting is at Alykanas area and does not inlcude visting Turtle Island which is located in the south of the island. Turtle Island can be visited on either of the following tours only Turtle Island & Keri Caves & Myzithres OR Cruise Around Zakynthos Island. Our main harbour for our private cruises is Kavos Psarou Marina. This is close to the surrounding resorts of Tsilivi, Tragaki, Psarou, Kypseli, Alykanas. At the harbour you will find a large free parking area making it very easy to access. 

We are flexible on our start location, we are able to pick up from other harbours on the choosen route for no addtional cost. Please request this when booking. We are also able to arrange transfers to the harbour if you require this additional service. 

Our Black Pearl Yacht Private Cruise departs from Zakynthos town. Again pick up and drop off can be arranged at alternative harbours along the choosen route. 

The following cancellation conditions apply for online bookings where payment is made in full

10 days before: Full Refund of ticket price (minus 5% booking fee)

9 – 2 day before: 50% of ticket price charged

Less than 24 hours before: No Refund

Additonal Information

Booking times/day and route may be subject to change due to unsafe weather/sea conditions. You will always be notified if this is the case as soon as possible.

If your booking is for any reason cancelled by us you will be issued a full refund

Yes our trips are suitable for children, we would suggest booking a larger boat if you have children for more comfort and safety. Young babies are welcome onboard however we advice booking a short trip not a full day as if the baby/child is unhappy onboard you can easily return whenever you are ready. 

Online Bookings – Payment in Full or Deposit Only

For payment in full you can book online using card payment. 

For payment with deposit you can book online and select cash payment. We will then send you a payment link for 25% of the booking which is paid by card. The remaing balance would thne be paid cash on the day. 

Offline Bookings by Email/Whatsapp/Office

Payment can be made in full or deposit by card, cash or bank transfer

On request with exchange rate to be agreed we can accept GBP currency.

All our boats are authorised and licenced for sail by Zakynthos Port Authorities. Where required all captains hold a valid boat licence. 

Onboard all boats you will find the necessary safety equipment including life jackets, life ring, flares, first aid and more. 

In situations where the port authories declare unsafe weather/sea conditions on the day of your trip we will not sail and you will be given a full refund or the chance to change the day.

If the sea conditions are suitable for sailing but not the best possible conditions we may recommend visiting a different area of the island if the sea conditions are better for your own best experience rather than a safety issue. 

Our Protagon Private Cruise boat has a WC facitilies onboard, this includes a private cabin with closing door with a toilet and washbasin inside.

Our Black Pearl Private Cruise has a full private bathroom cabin inside the main cabin of the yacht.

For our other boats without toilet facilities it is possible to stop at a harbour to use bathroom facilities at a restaurant/cafe. Int his case you would need to inform your captain and he would take you to the nearest place to dock.

SHIPWRECK – Navagio shipwreck cove is accessible by boat however access to the beach is prohibited. A time limitation is in place so we are not allowed to anchor or swim at this cove. We will approach the beach to the legal limatations allowing you to take a photograph and admire the waters. Please note the area of Shipwreck can often have rougher seas, your captain will always make decisions based on safety but if at any time you are uncomfortable you must information captain so he can respond accordingly. 

TURTLES – In Zakynthos Turtles are protected species and many rules apply regarding the conservation of these animals. In the national marine park (south of Zakynthos around Turtle Island) there are speed limits and distance limations on reaching the turtles. 

On our Shipwreck and Blue Caves tour we have added a turtle spotting option, this is not in the national marine park but in Alykanas area on the east coast. This area is now know for turtle spotting so a great option to include in the tour. 

In all our tours in is not guaranteed to see turtles, we will do our best to find turtles in a safe and appropriate way hwoever our company respects the regualtions and will not chase and cause distress to the turtles for entertainment. 

ENTERING CAVES – Our boats are able to enter caves and we allow swimming in caves. We do however advise to always check and be aware of your surrounding when doing this to avoid accidents. Rock fall is know in these area and additonally waves from passing boats and sea conditons can affect the ability and safety to enter caves. Your captain will always make a decison on the day for the safety of entering caves, please respect and understand this is for the safety of everyone.
